Teddy
was found by a kind person in
Belleville, and he was so nervous,
it took her two weeks just to get
him to come to her! When Teddy's
foster mom took him in, he was very
thin and very shy. It didn't take
him long, however, to come out of
his shell! He has turned out to
have the best personality--he's
sweet, playful, and thinks that
everyone and anything is his
friend--any size dog, cats, even
children! He came into the rescue
limping, and after a visit to the
vet to get his vaccines and wellness
check, it was discovered that he had
a fractured hip!! The vet's best
guess was that he was hit by a car,
and had been walking on that injured
leg for WEEKS or even longer! So,
Teddy had a surgery to fix his leg,
and even though it was a very
painful surgery, he still gets
around quite well while it is
healing and even tries to play with
his foster mom's other dogs. Teddy
is housetrained and his only problem
is that he wants to be wherever his
foster mom is, and that will
sometimes include trying to run out
of the front door when she goes to
work so that he can go with her.
However, she is working on that with
him and it's getting much better.
