Mary is a 3-year-old
rott. mix. She is very sweet,
affectionate and very lovable. She
loves to make new friends and give
kisses. She is a good listener and
has been learning commands well. So
far, she knows "sit" and "down" (lie
down) and knows that she is not
allowed on the furniture, so she
doesn't even try to get on it. She
is pretty good on a leash, but
still tries to bite it sometimes.
But once we are in "walking mode"
she is really good. She is
house trained and crate trained.
She loves all people and other dogs
and is more or less indifferent with
cats but she would not be suitable
for a house with small children.
Right now, she is going to Camp Bow
Wow three times a week for a few
hours at a time and has been having
a great time playing with all of the
other dogs. She loves to play with
her foster sister (lab/shepard
mix) and is used to having a person
around all of the time, so she would
do best in a house where she is not
alone a lot or has another dog
to keep her company.
Mary has a lot of
love to give and would do best in a
stable and calm environment with
someone who can give her as much
love and attention as she can give
them :)
