My name is Luci and I have now found what it's like to have a loving foster home.  BARK got me from the humane society where I was turned in with 4 brothers and sisters.  Our owner wasn't very nice, we were kept outside since we were born and not given any attention.   I've been on restricted play for a month due to heartworm treatment. But now I'm as good as new!  My foster parents are still learning about my personality. I shy away from new people at first but if you get down to my level I will warm up quickly.  I'm learning how to play with toys, but find that socks are the best toys in the world. I like to grab anything that looks appealing to me, but I'm still a puppy and learning what not to play with.  I really like shiny things, like rings, I may be part bird :).  I love to cuddle on your lap and sleep with you. Just rub my chest and I will be your friend forever. I'm not housetrained yet but we are working on it. I have not yet met the other dogs in the house but sure that we will get alone great.  There are cats running around in the house, but I'm a good girl and don't chase them.

The foster parents would like to adopt her out locally, within an hours drive of Belleville, IL.
