Laverne is Squiggy’s mom, she’s about 2 years old.  We call her the “Cushion Queen” because she has a favorite spot and it’s usually on a cushion up high.  She loves playing with the fishing pole type toys.  She’s the boss of everyone in the house, top of the pecking order.  More of a couch ornament, window watching, quiet kinda gal with the humans.  We’re still learning more about her but she’s has good house manners.  Has a tendency to be a bully at meal time and will not share her bowl with others.  Up to date on vaccinations, blood work, and preventions.  Tolerates the dog, as long as he doesn’t chase her.  I’ve only heard her talk one time but she has a nice purr motor when it’s revved.  Getting better about being groomed and having her toes trimmed.  She’s got the prettiest little face and just loves chin rubs.  Not crazy about being held for long periods but she will lay on the couch next to you for a relaxing evening after work.  She’ll even greet you at the door!  Wait until you see her wag her tail!

The foster Parents would like to adopt her out within an hours drive of Belleville, IL.
