Freckles is my name and I am as little
as a freckle is! I was originally a
bottle fed baby and very very small
girl. I was adopted along with Deuce
for a few years together. Then our
mommy traveled too much for work and
couldn’t spend time with us any more.
I’m shy at first, about a week or two,
and then your mine! My foster mom just
thinks I’m a funny little girl. I’m not
overly crazy about being held or petted
for long periods. But I will sit or lay
in your lap all day and night! My
foster mom was sick for a couple of
days, so I kept her anchored to the
couch! I like to follow you around the
house, sit in the kitchen and watch,
sleep with you (sometimes on you), watch
you get ready for work, will even let
you comb my fur. I don’t mind small
children as long as they don’t startle
me or are rough. I did allow foster
mom’s grandboy (toddler) pet me soft and
it was nice. I don’t like to be grabbed
or pulled. I’m the little kitty of a
million noises and tones. My language
is so large it may take you awhile to
figure it all out! I’m not a noisy cat
mind you, just when you pet or look at
me, I’ll tell you something. When you
call looking for me, I usually come
running. I do love exploring closets
for some reason, then I don’t make any
noise in there and it freaks mom out.
I’ve even been found on the top shelves
sleeping. She put a kitty bed in there
and now she knows where to look. I have
the softest paw to get your attention
with and teeny tiny head butts. Mom
calls me the compact size because I’m 7
1/2 pounds. Very good potty manners,
love fresh water every day, use the
scratching post appropriately; don’t
mess with the houseplants and am very
quiet around the house. Mom says I’m
somewhat stealthy at times. I just show
up and surprise, I’m here! I tolerate
the dog, as long as he leaves me alone,
doesn’t chase me or bother me. Would
probably be best as the only kitty in
the house. But wouldn’t mind one other
kitty if you have one that is not overly
dominate. Freckles would do extremely
well for someone that wants a personable
cat in their home. She’s such a delight
to have around the home.
