Tiki is a feather plucker,
who is being rehabilitated. He has had a thorough health
check that has ruled out any health issues. Tiki is very
sweet and affectionate, and loves being out of his cage
and spending time with his foster mom. He is learning to
play by himself and is given lots of things to chew in
order to distract him from his plucking. He knows "step
up" and is very easy to handle. We do think his favorite
activity is taking a bath. Be prepared for lots of
splashing. Tiki needs to go to a home that is willing
to give him lots of time and attention, not to mention
lots of supervised playtime out of his cage. Bird
experience is a must.
The foster mom would like to adopt him out locally,
within an hours drive of St Louis, MO. |
